Çeşme’de turizm sezonu öncesi altyapı atağı

İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi İZSU Genel Müdürlüğü, yaz aylarında nüfusu 1 milyonu aşan Çeşme’nin altyapısını turizm sezonuna hazırlıyor. İlçede ekipler kanalizasyon hatlarında kapsamlı temizlik çalışması yürütüyor. 6 ekibin eş zamanlı olarak sahada görev aldığı çalışmalarla, bölgedeki taşkın riski ve koku oluşumunun önüne geçiliyor.

İZSU Genel Müdürlüğü ekipleri, Çeşme’de turizm sezonu hazırlıkları kapsamında Musalla Mahallesi’ndeki kanalizasyon hatlarında temizlik çalışması yürütüyor. Çeşme Marina olarak bilinen ve ilçenin ana arterlerinden olan bölgede, temizliğin kısa sürede tamamlanması ve trafiğin sekteye uğramaması için 6 ekip eş zamanlı olarak 7 gün 24 saat çalışıyor.

“Taşkın ve kokunun önüne geçeceğiz”
Çalışmalara ilişkin bilgi veren İZSU Çeşme Teknik Birimi Amiri Turgay Toksoy, “Musalla, İnönü, Dalyan, 16 Eylül ve Sakarya mahallelerimizin atık sularını terfi istasyonuna ileten kanalizasyon hattında temizlik yapıyoruz. Çalışmalarımızın amacı, taşkın ve kokunun önüne geçmek. Çeşme Marina bölgesi, işletmelerin yoğun olduğu; dolayısıyla evsel atığın da fazla olduğu bir bölge. Burada yürüttüğümüz temizlik çalışmalarımızla, hat içerisinde biriken evsel atıkları bertaraf ediyoruz” dedi.
Trafiğin aksamaması ve vatandaşların mağduriyet yaşamaması için 6 ekiple yoğun mesai yaptıklarını belirten Toksoy, “Çeşme, yaz aylarında nüfus artışının yoğun olduğu bir ilçemiz. İZSU olarak, vatandaşlarımıza dört mevsim konforlu yaşam alanları sunmak için gayret ediyor; buradaki çalışmaları çok önemsiyoruz” dedi.

Bölge sakinlerinden İZSU’ya teşekkür
Kanalizasyon hattında yürütülen temizlik çalışmaları, bölge halkı tarafından da memnuniyetle karşılandı. Musalla Mahallesi Muhtarı Önder Soma, “Mahallemiz Çeşme’nin en eski yerleşim bölgesidir ve nüfusun en yoğun olduğu mahalledir. Marina bölgesi ve civarı bu sebeple çok önemli bir alan. Mahallemizin nüfusu, yaz aylarında oldukça artıyor. Bu yüzden kanalizasyon hattında temizlik çalışmasının yapılması bizim için çok önemliydi. Mahallem adına İZSU’yu kutluyorum. Sorunlarımıza hızlı bir şekilde çözüm üreten İZSU ekiplerine de teşekkür ediyorum” diye konuştu.

The idea of a friendship day, or Galentine's Day, has recently picked up steam.
